What events are counted?

South Australian Warhammer 40,000 singles events with open registration are admitted to the ledger. The public must have had the opportunity to enter; an event selling out does not offend this requirement. Invitation-only gatherings are excluded. The distinction between an open tournament and a private assembly of conveniently agreeable opponents should require no further illumination. How fortunate that we have now provided it.

What’s used for the rankings?

ITC scores, petitioner. Your player ranking uses your best six eligible event scores within the selected season and filters. We use recorded scores from Best Coast Pairings (BCP) where available, and clearly marked estimates for wholly unscored 2026 events. Battle points and win rates are retained for scrutiny; they do not replace ITC points in the player ranking. Your own assessment of your military brilliance has also been considered. Its absence from the calculation is deliberate.

What’s an ITC score?

ITC stands for International Tournament Circuit, now styled the Warhammer Global Rankings. The Administratum occasionally changes a heading to reassure itself that progress has occurred. An event score measures your tournament result for those wider rankings, accounting for final placing, field size, rounds and your path to victory. It is distinct from the battle points accumulated during your games. The official explanation is available for your study. You may even read it before submitting your next question. Such initiative would be recorded.

Why do some of my ITC scores have *’s?

You have noticed the annotation. A promising beginning. The asterisk marks synthetic ITC: an Ordo Statistica estimate for an event with no recorded ITC scores in BCP. Our model is fitted to 2026 results. These estimates count towards our rankings, but are not official BCP awards. An asterisk beside your total means at least one contributing score is synthetic. The mark is an explanation, petitioner, not a decoration.

Direct your further enquiries to the tournament organiser concerning their ITC / Warhammer Global Rankings token, which must be requested through BCP, and the publication of their ranking results. One presumes that an individual capable of assembling an entire tournament can also negotiate the relevant paperwork. The precise cause of an absent score is theirs to clarify. We shall permit them the pleasure.

I fought seven campaigns. Why do only six count?

Because six results were requested of the scribes, and they possess the rare discipline to stop at six. Your highest scoring results in the current selection contribute to the total; the rest remain in your history for such contemplation as you find necessary. A synthetic score outside those six retains its own asterisk without marking the total. In the All seasons view, each season’s best six are added together. Your seventh campaign has not been lost. It has merely received the consideration it merits.

Why does my total change when I change the filters?

You altered the terms of the enquiry. The records have obligingly answered the enquiry you actually made. Season, date, edition and meta filters change the available results, so your best six and their total may change with them. A meta identifies a particular rules period. This permits comparison under the appropriate conditions, should comparison have been your intention. We would not presume to explain your own orders to you twice.

Does my four-player kitchen-table crusade qualify?

Its existence may come to our attention. Do not mistake this for recognition. Events with fewer than eight players remain visible during discovery, but start unselected for inclusion and require manual review. Open registration remains a requirement. You are welcome to regard your triumph over three acquaintances as a matter of considerable personal significance. The ledger will await the appropriate review before sharing your enthusiasm.

The ledger contains an error. May I question it?

You may petition Inquisitor Octavian Rhex. His office is accessible through the customary channels, whose whereabouts are quite apparent to those entitled to know them. If you must ask which channels, your investigation is already progressing poorly. Present your evidence, observe the appropriate silences, and trust that your petition will find its way to the attention it deserves. Should a response be necessary, you will be found. How reassuring for you.

Can the Ordo account for my treacherous dice?

The allegation has been received. Your dice have offered no testimony, and your recollection of the decisive roll is, regrettably, not independent evidence. The published result therefore stands. Should the Ordo require your dice for examination, arrangements will be made without troubling you for directions. Until then, you may continue calling them cursed. They appear to extend you the same courtesy.
